What’s the difference between LiteRegister and LiteManage?
LiteRegister records sales and takes payment — pay per sale, no monthly fee. LiteManage handles customers, appointments, staff and reminders without recording sales — flat AED 29/month (~$8). Not sure which fits? Contact us and we’ll help you choose.
How do I log in?
With your phone number. We send a one-time code on WhatsApp — no password to remember.
What’s a token?
One token is spent each time you record a sale in LiteRegister. New accounts get 30 free tokens, unused ones expire after 14 days. Purchased tokens never expire.
What happens when my tokens run out?
Recording a new sale stops, and the app tells you plainly. Everything else — customers, past sales, reports, staff — stays fully accessible. Top up and carry on.
Can I switch products later?
Yes — message us or email support@literegister.com and we’ll move you between LiteRegister and LiteManage. Your customers, staff and history stay exactly as they are — nothing is lost.
Who can see my customers’ notes?
Notes you write about a customer or supplier are private to you — not visible to your other staff, and not shown to the customer. Appointment notes are visible to any staff member managing bookings, so colleagues can cover for each other.
Can my staff see everything I see?
No. Staff see the sales they record and the customers/appointments they work with. Commission rates, full reports and account settings are owner-only.
What payment methods can I accept?
Connect your own Ziina account. We never see or store your customers’ card details.
Is there a minimum for card, QR or Link payments?
Yes — AED 2, set by Ziina. Ziina also takes a small fixed fee on every card, QR or Link payment — 2.6% + AED 1 (VAT included) — so on a very small sale that flat AED 1 is a big share: an AED 2 sale loses about half to the fee. For tiny amounts, cash keeps more of your money. LiteRegister adds nothing on top — just the usual token for recording the sale, from AED 0.30. See Ziina’s pricing for the full fee schedule.
Can I export my data?
Yes — sales, expenses and customers can be downloaded as CSV. A dedicated reports page is on our roadmap.
What happens if I stop using LiteRegister?
After 120 days of inactivity, your account is paused. You have 60 days to log back in and reactivate — everything stays intact. After that, a further 30-day window before your personal and contact data is permanently deleted. Anonymized financial records — sale and expense amounts with names and numbers stripped out — are kept for 7 years to meet tax and accounting law, then deleted too. We recommend exporting anything you need during the 60-day window.
Does it work outside the UAE?
LiteManage has no country restriction. LiteRegister’s tokens and payment gateways are set up for UAE businesses today.
Does it work on my computer or tablet?
Yes — LiteRegister and LiteManage work in any browser, on any device. There’s no separate app to install. The screens are designed mobile-first, so on a wider screen you’ll see the same phone-sized layout centered on your screen rather than a redesigned desktop view — but every feature works exactly the same.
Why isn’t this an app I download from the App Store?
It’s a web app on purpose. New features and fixes reach you the moment we ship them — no waiting days for App Store or Play Store approval. There’s nothing to download or update; just open it in your browser and it’s always the latest version. It works the same way on your phone, your partner’s phone, or a shared tablet at the counter — no install, no storage taken up, no “please update” nagging.
Is my customers’ data sold or shared?
Never sold. Used only to run the app for you. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
What business categories are supported?
Salons & grooming: Men's Salon, Ladies Salon, Spa / Massage, Nail / Lash Studio and Pet Grooming. Automotive & repair: Car Garage, Car Wash / Detailing and Mobile Repair. Home & trade services: Laundry / Dry Cleaning, Home Cleaning, Handyman, AC Repair and Pest Control. We also cover Photo Studio, Tailor / Alterations, Gym, Yoga Studio and Freelancer. Each category starts you off with a set of typical services, which you can rename, remove or add to. Don’t see your business? Select Other / General — you start with a blank slate and add your own services, exactly as you work.

Is there a simpler alternative to Zoho or Salesforce for a small business?
Yes — most small service businesses use a fraction of what those platforms offer. LiteRegister and LiteManage give you sales, customers, appointments and staff without the setup time, training, or per-seat pricing built for larger teams.
What’s a lightweight CRM?
A CRM that does customer records, appointments and reminders — and nothing you have to configure before it’s useful. LiteManage is built that way: no funnels to configure, no workflow builder, just the tools a service business actually uses.
Do you plan to add AI or automation everywhere?
Only where it actually helps. Most of what a small service business needs — recording a sale, booking an appointment, following up with a customer — doesn’t need AI to do well; it needs to be fast and not get in your way. We’re exploring AI-powered insights for later (see our roadmap), but we won’t bolt on AI or ‘automation’ features just because they’re trendy. The app runs on a few small background jobs (sending reminders, checking for inactive accounts) — nothing more elaborate than that, on purpose.
Is there a CRM without a monthly fee?
LiteRegister has none — you pay per sale recorded, nothing else. LiteManage is a flat AED 29/month (~$8) if you’d rather not record sales through the app at all.
Do I need training to use this?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use LiteRegister or LiteManage — that’s the whole design goal.
